By Lawfully: Example murder is forbidden but the death penalty imposed by the state for a crime is permitted

There is a differeance between war and sneak attacks which is also forbidden in Islam

That's Surah 5:32 , not 5:53. And you didn't post the part of the verse that says this was a command for the children of Israel, neither did you quote the verse that comes after it, which is the command directed at muslims
