People blaming most of the problems in the world on religion need to educate themselves. History simply does not support that hypothesis. Only less than 7% of all wars in human history has religion as their primary cause. And they are usually the least destructive. The majority of wars have been fought for political and economic reasons and yet I don't hear anyone calling for the abolition of politics and economy as anarchy and communism as history also shows would further lead the world to destruction.
