The Grindr user first tweeted, "Vive La France!" on Friday evening, just after multiple terrorist attacks across the city killed more than 100 people. He next appeared to criticize French President François Hollande, who declared a state of emergency and closed the country's borders. In September, Hollande announced that France would accept 24,000 migrants over two years, in an effort to help those fleeing war and oppression.
@RobLowe: Oh, NOW France closes its borders. #Hollande
@RobLowe: This is either the worst translation of an important speech ever, or one of the worst ever given. #Hollande
@RobLowe: Lived in France, and spend a ton of time there. Been in that stadium. This is all so devastatingly sad for a place I love. #FrenchPrayers
@RobLowe: Wow. For you trolls out there, the phrase "Vive La France" is the traditional expression of SUPPORT for France. Don't misinterpret my words.
This has nothing to do with the refugee crisis though. Weren't the Syrian passports revealed to be fake? If you really think this has anything to do with that, you're falling for the terrorists' plot!
