Oh, and the reason you don't give out home-made treats for Halloween is because you can't trust some home baked **** an absolute stranger gives you. At least with (unopened) candy, there's very little possibility of tampering with the treat you're given.

i remember never eating at a fast food in the uk, we went to kebab places, tea houses... but i don't recall many chains...

Here in Mexico there are fast food places but the vast majority are independent restaurants or others sorts of food places

This is not true.
We have mc donalds, some burger kings and a few KFCs. Fastfood is not as big of a business as it is in the US.

European governments emphasize a LOT on healthy food.

In every town in North America, there is a fast food chain, for halloween, what horrifies me is that people don't give kids treats they make, they give them mini chocolate bars and other processed candies... In Europe it would be looked upon as nasty to treat someone with twix or kitkat ...
