Never got detention, but I did get in serious trouble one time in first grade. Our class was drawing random pictures one day and I started joking around with this girl. I got a scissor and PRETENDED that I was gonna cut her hair. The bitch thought I was serious and snitched on me so I ended up not going to P.E. with the class as a punishment.
Always for being late, not tucking in my shirt (we had uniforms) and rolling my skirt above the knees like a thot. Its not my fault they wanted us to look like the amish with skirts down to my ankles and knee socks like..
I had detention every week for being late though. School starting at 8:00 is a crime.
i don't recall ever getting detention but in the 7th grade my mom was called in because i made a hate group on myspace about my english teacher and invited everyone in my grade to join it. the teacher found out the next day bc people wouldnt shut up about it

My orchestra teacher got into a little fit one day and gave like 1/4 the class a detention from not turning in a homework slip. I mean he was well within his rights to do so but he given no warning and he seems to have done it after being mad at something a student did.
Except I left my homework slip in my locker and he wouldn't let me go get it. Literally only 3 minutes while checking for other students that he couldn't spare but he allows student to go to the restroom?
But yeah that was my only detention, a lunch detention. I got the lovely opportunity to be in the same room with two crushes. I also learned that lunch detention is utterly pathetic for a punishment. No wonder people don't stop getting into trouble.
I got detentions for the normal not doing homework, late to class, ditching out ect. But there were times when I got detentions for stealing glitter, hacking into the school network to access FB and control teachers laptops, sabotaging peoples artwork (They deserved it), using all the ink the printer, and also for always sneaking into some music room with a piano cause I'd rather write, sing, record songs. I have more but I can't remember all, I hated my school life, tbh.
