It is NOT up to states to decide whether or not to take in refugees. It is a matter that the federal government decides and if they choose to take in more refugees then Congress will do the funding
This **** reeks of irony. How does the US intervene in the Middle East, destabilize the region in the name of 'spreading democracy' and then refuse to take in refugees who are fleeing a war torn country and the chaos they themselves helped create smh
How much sense does it make for the Western World to tell Syrian Refugees that they can't come into our country when they didn't ask for us to meddle in theres and start an all out war. The US and its' coalition, Iran and Russia are conducting bombs all over Syria so how exactly is it ok for us to conduct daily operations in Syria yet they can't step foot in our soil?
