Why wouldnt BOMT have better recurrent sales? Britney is the more recent artist and BOMT is the most recent era (by over a decade for that matter)

You might want to do a little research. It's actually factual. Madonna is about consistency. She doesn't even have a million-selling single in the U.K. (though most of her peers do) but she's the best-selling singles artist in the U.K. by a wide margin despite peaking in the physical era.
