Can we please not have another homosexuality vs. religion thread?
With NE and Chi on this board still, I'm sure it will turn into that. The end of the story is this:
A lot of people have yet to learn that love comes from the heart. Until they fall in love, they wouldn't understand anythng beyond what they see. I have been in love before (am still) and I can see it in straight people and understand where they come from.
Nothing is wrong. The funny thing is, marriage is supposed to be sacred and meaningful under God's name. Then why are we laughing at his face when over 60% of the population has been divorced, not once, not twice, but three times? Let's not forget when Britney Spears married her fellow friend from High School for three days! What was her reason? It was just for fun!
We are stomping on the meaning of what marriage really means under God's name, so why should it matter if we take it another step forward and allow gay people to marry when we in fact know gay marriages will last unlike straight marriages. The divorce rates will drop if gays are allowed to marry. At least that's what the majority's think based on facts...who knows!
