finally have more freedom?
What I mean is that, were you so excited to turn that age and finally be free to have fun, drink, party, sex? Were they one of the things you've always wanted to do?
Age is just a number, you start to feel liberated when you reach a certain stage in your life. Too much is made about being a virgin also, you feel no different whatsoever after having sex at least, as a gay male.
I found it was when I moved to Uni, I started to discover myself, image overhaul, increased independence etc.

If anything I felt more contrived, you need to take a stand and be responsible if you really wanna have a great future in front of you.
