They haven't embraced her because she hasn't bothered to win their support. If she went there and did a round of promo i'm sure she'd blow up. 21 hadn't sold that much at first, it only made it's way to platinum after the Grammys introduced her to them!
I'll probably be delusional and pretend this never happened for years tho. But oh well. At least it's not Ayumi doing it.
