People stan for people who say way worse things (i.e. make racist statements, are viciously mean to others, etc. and this isn't shade to one specific artist but multiple)

Her writings good, they just got mad bc she's done really good and they wanna reach and say New Americana is a National Anthem ripoff when the lyrics aren't similar at all and the chord progression is vaguely similar at best (but people stan for songs with even more similarities to other much more well known songs and call them incredibly iconic and original).
