She truly doesn't deserve this. And you can tell it from the way she speaks about it, that she knows it too.

Shes underrated as a singer but she's far from the best of our generation.

She's flawless and a good entertainer shes got the full package I dunno its like people dont connect with her its like she dont have the X factor I always see her like a B list star tbh I think because she always flops it kinda tarnishes her image and people pay her music career dust.

She needs a total revamp and a good team behind her and some decent budget and she could get some decent hits iv always liked her though she definitely don't deserve to flop like she does.

"Jai Ho" was supposed to be Nicole's single with A.R. Rahman before Interscope decided to put it under the PCD banner so it would sell it better.

Nicole definitely doesn't have a lot of competition among pop stars when it comes to vocal ability so "far from the best" is hardly accurate. There's Beyonce, Leona Lewis and Kelly Clarkson from this generation. Who else? Don't say Adele.

As for the rest, I agree except for flopping tarnishing her image. Only people on pop music forums know about her flopping and shelved US albums. It's not like anyone in real life knows that Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears, etc. flopped with their last efforts. The real issue that Nicole is the disconnect she has with people. People don't relate to her and often love to dislike her. She needs to make herself more endearing.

Nicole's problem is bad music.

Big Fat Lie was terrible, but Killer Love sounds like a third Pussycat Dolls album in the era of RedOne-Stargate-Ester Dean.

Had Run been under Adele/Beyonce/e.t.c it would have been a huge hit tbh.
So yeah, it's not always bad music.

Don't Hold Your Breath is pop perfection, yet flopped hard in the US.

I used to really dislike Nicole. I don't even know why.

I love her now. All her interviews in the last 2 years or so have been amazing. She's opened up a bit, she comes across more down to earth and relatable. Her second album was great. Run was a masterpiece. Her vocal performances are mind blowing. Rooting for her. She's one of the best performers alive tbh

As the lead of PCD, she had a role. She was suppose to be this hot, sexy vixen Queen Doll that you don't mess around with. It was just a persona though. Then people identified Nicole with that persona, and it took so long for her to try and show the world her real personality, and her incredible artistry. This is why i think going back to PCD is going to hurt everything that she's been trying to do since leaving the group.

I think a lot of people here feel the same way because there's a strongly negative perception of her thanks to PCD. Many people under PCD's VEVO videos genuinely think that she's a talentless stripper who can't sing and didn't allow the other more talented, members to get their spotlight because she was jealous of them. That's all obviously false.
