ugggh I have both , most people will vote Gamecube cuz it has iconic titles like Smash bros, luigis mansion, Legend of Zelda but Dreamcast is way to underrated and has fantastic games like Shemue 1&2, Resident Evil: Code Veronica, Jet Set Radio, Dead or Alive 2, Powerstone, Sonic Adventure, Marvel vs Capcom 2.
I give it to my Sega Dreamcast cuz it doesn't get enough credit
I don't care what you guys say… the Dreamcast owned! So many amazing games on that system! I mean, Soul Calibur, Power Stone, Sonic Adventure, Skies of Arcadia, Phantasy Star Online, Shenmue, Crazy Taxi, Jet Set Radio… ugh, lemme plug my system in now!
I don't think I have ever seen a Dreamcast in real life. I vote GameCube.
I believe the box said "industry leading load times" or something to that effect and it was true. It was like playing a cartridge system. What I liked about the system the most were the way you could connect to a GameBoy Advance. Wind Waker added a really cool feature called the Tingle Tuner and that was why I bought the game. You could trade Pokemon from your GBA to Colosseum/XD.
It was just really cool. I'm amazed that it only sold 20 million units since everybody I knew had one.
I just wish that Nintendo would have released the Component cable for the system in the US and that they tried to do a little more for online play. There were some peripherals that never really got a lot of attention.
