I have a message that I want to talk about, as it is really close to my life and heart. But I am not sure how to go about it without it sounding cheesy.

This is good, these are the things you should be focussing on with this challenge. It's easy to have something personal and to write about that but it's difficult to get it to translate so it's relatable to everyone without being too cheesy.

Your song was OK, and i got the meaning but it was so contrived and hidden between the verbage that it wasn't as powerful
