The fact that we are discriminating against a transgender person because of their class and race, and calling them a "non-worthy" representation of their community just because they don't check off certain boxes, is extremely hypocritical, to say the least.

This is why a big part of the LGBT/SJW community is so off putting to me. Nothing is ever good enough, always find something problematic.

Sure Caitlyn doesn't represent the community, but why attack her? At least she's doing her thing, and her whole case did far more good than damage. They should focus on helping Trans people in need and fighting bigots, not this.

its sad she's not accepted because she didn't "struggle". shouldn't they be happy she didn't have to? i mean she may not have struggled financially, but she does struggle equally against prejudice/inequality.

i agree she should bring more attention towards other trans who suffer from being homeless, jobless, and trans w/o a voice/platform. saying she's a "white wealthy woman" makes them come off as petty and pressed. they should focus on that anger,find ways to link up w/ her or find better ways to bring it to her attention honestly.

I REALLY hope you are joking. what does being homeless have anything to do with being transgender? what kind of random ass reverse class discrimination? Bruce still had to deal with the mental anguish of having this secret inside of him for 60+ years. that can destroy a person.

Most American women have never been homeless and most likely never will be, though. I'm not seeing your point. Caitlyn might be a privileged, rich, white woman but she still struggles and faces transphobia on a daily basis. She has it harder than most people as her life is all out there in the media and millions of people can just attack her anonymously for no reason. I feel for her. She's so inspirational.
