Also, I have a cool idea for a challenge. Dunno if it's been done before. It's be called the gif challenge where people pick a number and each number has a gif attached to it and you'll have to make a song using it. Of course the gif has to have the ability to be translated into a story/song.

I relate to Halsey a lot in her artistry actually. The way she talks about Badlands in her interviews is just how I envision my album The Acid Reign. ATRL is really doing way too much on her. If you hate her you should hate Marina and Melanie Martinez just as much

I do. "Hate" is the wrong word, though; I dislike the way they portray themselves.
I completely understand artists have a specific vision and mindset about what they do. Talking about that in interviews in what they're supposed to do, but the way they say things is just annoying. Marina had an entire era centered around satire of the dumb blonde pop star, but it was really her desperately seeking commercial success. And the way she talked her involvement in FROOT is perfectly understandable, but she the way she worded it was irritating and came across as bragging.
It may just be personal reactions. I never had a problem with Gaga's or Madonna's interviews, whereas others have. I think the difference for me was that I could always see their personalities. They felt genuine and didn't come across as insufferable or pretending they were something they weren't. They commanded attention instead of demanding it.
Judges have at least two days to get their comments in, it's been this way since Round 1. Please don't expect us to have hints or comments done for all of the songs in less than a day. We all have lives outside of PH too.
Like I said, I decided to not rush things this week since...I really didn't feel like I should have to. I like to make sure you get comments quickly, because I know, having been a contestant multiple times, the anxiety between submitting and actually getting results is a lot...but I don't really think anyone was feeling this round, and it'll show in your songs. (I still haven't read any yet, but I am starting after this post.)
I'll be honest and say the drop outs this week were discouraging, but...it does mean less songs to read, and hopefully better comments.
I've liked them all so far . I preferred this to the last two weeks but week 2 is my favourite so far. The last three weeks have been tougher but I guess it's supposed to get harder not easier.
I didn't like this challenge since the theme was easy thus I felt like I needed to complicate what I was saying since I had an easier challenge than some others.
So I kept questioning what to write and spent days trying to even start the song
Halsey is one of my new faves. I relate to her artistry a lot. With that being said, The Lord will forever remain my ultimate fave. And she slays careers so I just hope Halsey ends up breaking through, that collabo with Biebs is AMAZING and it could help push her
I liked this challenge. It made me think differently and take a different approach than I would have otherwise. Judging takes a while, I'm sure, but I think we'd all rather in-depth, constructive critiques than rushed ones.
