Man...Americans are really politically charged. And have this definitive political division between left and right.

I know! It's so annoying and odd.
Rachel Maddow did a fair job explaining how, even though the deadline was February 1, Obama could be considered and was selected to be a Peace Laureate. Sure, he's not had much time in office before the deadline but look at the work he did to try and bring the nation and the world together before election day - when he was blasted for his European tour where he spoke on nuclear disarmament and peace through diplomacy, where he pushed for a nation to come together to bring a needed change in dialogue that has since become more hate-filled as well as his work in community development. Trust that there are many people as deserving or more deserving (I would have went with Zimbabwe's Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangali if only cuz he's somehow kept a unity government for a year while trying to press for freedoms and having Robert Mugabe STOP KIDNAPPING THE OPPOSITION) but Obama was selected and as Americans we should feel pride that he was chosen.
Instead of the Limbaughs who seem to delight with siding with the Taleban that Obama doesn't deserve it or it dimishes the award or, as RNC Chair Michael Steel thinks, he should decline it. What the ****ing **** is wrong with the far right in this country -_-
