"'81" was the first taste from Have One on Me, released for streaming on Drag City's website about a month before the album's release. This resulted in her label's website being overloaded. Joanna her power (?). It was probably a little misleading, with this little track being much shorter than the average song on the album. "'81" is one of Joanna's most straightforward and poppiest, and as such it was performed a lot to promote the album. Also, the track is apparently about Joanna's conception (she was born in January 1982).
