at what age would a person be mature enough to babysit? 12? 15? 18?

The kid had to at least be in 3rd grade, honestly he has to have some sort of mental issues if he didnt know what he was doing.

Why does this sound like "The Sims 4: Behind The Scenes" since adults have nowhere to go except clubs, the game bugs and doesn't generate a babysitter when you leave and there's not a Toddler in sight

In seriousness though, what the **** were the parents thinking? Leaving a child alone with a baby? I know as a kid I could have thrown my brother accross the room when he annoyed me, vice versa. The child needs to go to care.

I doubt that the 8 year old child intended to kill the toddler or even fathomed the consequences of death, but there's not a doubt in my mind that the child was reenacting stuff that happened to him, that he saw, and lived to tell about.

If the father of this kid isn't in jail, then he needs to be, because the only reason why the legal system seems to be coming down on the mother and not the father is because the mother is actually around to punish.
