Well, in the years that Voice has existed, Idol ain't produced any legit stars either.

Phillip Phillips - last single(sold around 400K in the US) and last album(sold around 150K in the US)
Scotty McCreery- last album sold around 275K in the US, first single from that album went PLATINUM, second single from that same album went GOLD
Lauren Alaina- last album sold around 300K, and her latest single right now is doing well in the country charts
Colton Dixon is doing AMAZING in his genre(Christian), having multiple #1 hits over there and having awards.

Since The Voice came on the air, American Idol has produced Scotty McCreery (#1 on the Billboard 200, certified Patinum), Phillip Phillips (5x Platinum "Home," Platinum debut album), and Lauren Alaina (debut album sold more than any The Voice alumni).
Plus people like Haley Reinhart, Casey Abrams, Jessica Sanchez, each of whom are popular thanks to the groups they're affiliated with or have collaborated with much bigger artists.

PP's the closest, but he's had a total of 2 T40 hits and his 2nd album as mentioned is probably sub-200k after a year and a half.
The last alum with 2 albums to sell half a mil is from S5; the last alum with 3 T40 hits is from S6, 8.5 years ago.

in general with the decline of album sales, only few albums sold even half a mil. Even lady gaga's last album didn't sell 1Million.. Demi, Selena, etc haven't even sold 500K with their albums DEMI and Stars Dance even with multiple hits
