She don't like to feel pressed by media timing and label schedules. If the recording process flows naturally, then she will release it. If not, she will not put it out just because fans are thirsty for something.
I feel like she has been so innovative for so many years that she's afraid of not releasing a material that matches or surpasses the quality of her previous work. So, while avoiding the pressure, she's simply delaying everything.
