maybe the reason they're "not listening" is because your argument is stupid. but apparently telling them over and over again will somehow convince them. you go ahead and do that, i guess.
there's a lot of problems in the gay community, including with misogyny, but this is not one of them. (really, i think the biggest one is the way a lot of gay men will shame women for their bodies - not as in their vaginas, but as in calling them fat or ugly or things like that. that's a much bigger problem that isn't even addressed here)

Strike two, the weave issue goes beyond a hairstyle, being ignorant about it comes from your privilege.
Strike three, just because you're gay doesn't mean you have to ignore the misogyny in this community until "all problems are solved"
