Nobody is saying Monsters invented it, but the Yaaas Gaga thing absolutely made it popular to mainstream culture.
Lol white gay males and straight black women are just as guilty of "appropriation" of the black gay male lingo. It all started there, as with many other words and expressions. Then straight black woman feel entitled to use that language and that's all you hear on those ratched shows like Housewives and Love & Hip Hop. Black women didnt invent anything, gay black males did.
