About being human specifically: As humans, we have the most complex thought processes and emotions out of any (known) life form. That can either be a blessing or a curse (and a lot of times it's the latter), but what's great is that it all depends on how you want to look at it, and as humans, we have that ability.
About being alive: Sentience. I can't really think of anything else.
What qualities/inventions/emotions/ etc make you feel lucky to be alive?: It'll sound tacky af, but love. It's such a powerful feeling that non-sentient things will never get. I also like the power of free will. Non-sentient objects are subject to whoever owns them. I, however, can choose so many aspects of my life, and it's a blessing I think many people take for granted.
