HUNTY, if you think Organic Chemistry is hard, try to sit in a Medicinal Chemistry class

Organic Chemistry is for children to me

The syllabus is just very wide. But as long as you understand the different mechanisms and all that it can be very simple. The concepts themselves may take a while to fully grasp but afterwards application is pretty easy.

It's my favorite of 'em all, I don't think it's that difficult. I have inorganic chem now, which is fine.

students learned this in my highschool until this year but i haven't seen anyone complaining about this actually

I recommend "Organic Chemistry as a Second Language" if you're worried. But it's not that bad.

I actually really enjoy it, it's the only part of Chemistry I like.

My roommate is a chemistry major and is taking it now. He seems to be going through it pretty well. It's also one of the highest failed classes on my campus, as well as Calculus II and Computer Systems. From what I've heard, it's difficult due to the imagining of chemical bonds in 3D space. I'm a CS major, not a chem major, so I Wouldn't be the most informed.

MTE. It's way more interesting and easier than inorganic chemistry (I find IO harder than O Chem).

It´s very interesting and cool. Obviously not that easy but you just have to understand the mechanics. It´s my favorite part in chemistry. Yas

Oh I failed it

Actually I passed Organic Chem 1, and failed Organic Chem 2.

Chemistry was my best subject in high school but I could not pay attention at all in University (in any of my classes), so that really screwed me over. If you pay attention to everything you should be fine. The material itself is not too difficult, it's just a LOT, which you can't really teach yourself, so pay attention! I just sat on my laptop and didn't listen to a single word.

Chemistry sucks in general. The chemistry course I'm taking now in college is the lowest level, it's not organic chemistry and yet like 60% of students will fail/drop the course
