^That has the article with a few updates. Here are a few other videos that are linked in that article....this one you can see the cops tazing and beating the guy and girl up: http://www.cw.ua.edu/multimedia/9524
I'm getting tired of seeing so many instances like this all year long. Something has to be done with police....they're supposed to be protecting us, yet you have cops out there like this who go on these power trips and take advantage of their authority, threaten and beat people up who didn't do anything. It's corrupt.
It also makes me feel bad for the good cops out there, because that's a really admirable profession to have and they do some great things, yet they don't get the recognition they deserve because of people like this.
****ing ridiculous.
And you'll have the people who scream "they're doing their job!!!!" or "what about the cop's safety?!?!"
Like. I just can't even deal with it. It's such a ****ing issue and I cannot believe it continues to be brushed under the rug

Right? It's not like these people were threatening or anything....the 2nd video where you see them dragging the guy out, tazing and then continuing to beat him with the stick was really disturbing.
"Three of the responding officers have already been placed on paid administrative leave in response to the event and will remain on leave until the completion of the investigation, Anderson said. He declined to name the three officers but confirmed that they were the officer who initially responded to the call and the officers who tased and clubbed the male individual in the video."
