A Radio only artist (*because she's new) is held to a radio and chart only standard.. established acts who are touring forces arent held to such standards
Its a flop. Its already what in the 20s on itunes? And is only going down further. And considering Problem opened with a huge 400k, .. 113k is underwhelming. It will probably be out of the hot 100 before Christmas so
Gaga's Dope is a top10 Hit and a flop. Dont get exited.
-debuted higher than any Rihanna, Miley Cyrus or Beyonce single has debuted, ever.
Rihanna's Diamonds sold 133k first week in 2012 and is considered a hit
Let's just stop right there.
A big debut doesn't mean the song will be a success in the long run.
Diamonds is a major success and Focus will probably never come close to it so i don't see how you're comparing the two.
Uh, why are you trying to compare her to Demi and Selena when y'all have been trying to say she's a main pop girl. Sure it's doing ok for a Nickelodeon girl, but that's it!
Edit: just saw that Alive by Sia is higher on iTunes than Focus. Just putting things in perspective!
But in all seriousness though, this will probably drop to the Top 20 next week and probably won't spend another week in the Top 10. It'll do alright because of streaming but radio isn't playing it as much as her other singles and the GP probably won't buy it so it's success will be all streaming-based.
