Shontelle has confirmed the first single from her new album is called "Licky".
The release date is unconfirmed but she did confirm it's coming soon. Shontelle began working on her album back in August and is currently in Sweden finishing the record. Shontelle confirmed the album will have collaborations one of which with British artist Mr Hudson but insisted the others are secrets she also confirmed the album will feature productions from some of the biggest producers of today.
shontelle, i love you but i will wait to hear it first.
t shirt did ok in the US and good in the UK. stuck with each other was a really good duet with akon that could have been promoted in the US because diane warren wrote it and it is good. but that was for the movie and didnt appear on the album.
If she doesn't hit big this time, she's definitely over.
i agree. she needs to hit NOW. she has a little fanbase in the UK. she needs to promote more in the US. t shirt could have gone higher if she had promoted it more.

I agree. T-shirt was a hit, but it could've been a smash. SMH.
Did you guys know that "Revolver" was almost her song? She said it on twitter a few weeks ago. Makes sense now, now that I hear the direction that she's going in with her new album.
i like it though, it sounds really promising and it is catchy. shontelle is a really good songwriter. when i heard she was going the dance pop route, i was a little skeptical because she would be good for the r&b genre cause of her songwriting and decent vocals. but this new song sounds really good, it just needs a little BASS in the background to make it heavier because it sounding too light. i just listened a second time and i think her vocals need to be in a deeper tone, that would make the song absolutely perfect.

Well it doesn't sound like it's coming out TOO soon so there's plenty of time for stuff to change.
I agree w/ miguellopez, would have been a good summer song. Too bad so sad.
