I think his point went over your head. Asians =/= East Asians and it's highly unlikely that every person in the Asian continent is unattractive. You just decided they were from your limited exposure to East Asians only. It also seems like you take pride in that limited view.

I was mainly referring to ORIENTAL Asians. Not South Asians, or Punjabi, or Desi, or even Persians. And don't talk to limited exposure like you know me when Filipinos, Indonesians and Malaysians are almost everywhere where I live.

I'll paraphrase what another user said in a thread akin to this:
"If one can block out an entire gender [gay men with females], then there is no problem blocking out an entire race."

I can tell you exactly why that happened. This man, who wrote off black and asian men, messaged you because you were deemed good enough. When people say "no fats, fems, asians, blacks, etc" what they're really saying is "I don't normally find fat, (or) fem,(or) asian,(or) black men attractive but if you're the rare specimen I do find attractive, I'll try to have sex with you"

Using those sweeping generalizations is an easy: read lazy, way for some people to filter out undesirables. They don't want you coming up to them. They want to approve you by making the first move. What's more, they want you to know that you're the lone Asian/black that they'll talk to. These men seek to strip you of your power.

That's really all that it is. You were found to be the exception to their rule. You "made the cut" if you will. You made the right choice in cutting off communication with that guy.

And THAT shows you are, whether you're willing to admit it or not, racist.

I'm so glad to see the majority of the posts in this thread share the same opinion that having a racial "preference" is in fact low key racism, I only wish I could articulate myself as well as you guys.

It's an instant turn off for me when I see any profile that openly states an exclusion towards a group. Unless they're excluding close minded people or the like.

Also I don't need to be Asian to be able to call out racism. In fact as a white person, I'm in the unique position to use my privilege to respectively call attention to casual racism such as this.

Again, I'm not saying you're necessarily a bad person. I've certainly had racist and transphobic opinions before until someone rightfully called me out on those opinions, and respectively educated me and forced me to think about how my way of thinking was wrong and hurtful. The difference now is you're just digging your head further into the sand and refusing to reflect on any of the very valid arguments that people have pointed out or even consider what people have said.

Again, no one is saying you have to be attracted to someone. If I walked 10 people of various Asian ethnicity in front of you, and you didn't feel any attraction to them, then THAT'S OK.

What's not ok is to make a complete blanket generalization about an entire race of people based on the preconceived notions you've made and just dismiss than altogether. Even if you've met hundreds or thousands of Asians in your life time, the total percentage of Asian people you've met in comparison to the number of people of Asian descent in the world is so miniscule.

And as for your Asian friends not being insulted...well I've never personally been offended when someone's used "gay" or "f*g" as an insult, but that doesn't mean that such language isn't inherently rooted in some type of homophobia whether the person intended to use it as such or not, just like even though you don't necessarily intend to come across as racist with these statements, doesn't mean they aren't inherently rooted in some sort of institutionalized/culturally rooted racism.

Davey Wavey is known because his first hit video was him uploading a video of his neighbor masturbating (without the neighbor knowing about being filmed) and his amazing body on display.
