This is why I wish my city had Lyft I took an Uber today and only $1.50 change, it was kind of embarrassing giving such a small tip but the whole reason I use Uber is because I never carry cash...
Uber drivers aren't even supposed to accept tips... that's one of the basic points of Uber lol.
Ive heard from friends that drivers give you a low rating if you don't tip. Plus it just feels rude not to tip.
Well that behavior is probably grounds for termination because they're not even supposed to accept tips, let alone give negative ratings for not tipping. Every time I've tried the driver has declined because of those rules.
I use Uber and Lyft. Uber is superior but Lyft lets you tip the driver, they need the exposure so drivers can get compensated fairly. Bieber, the Taylor of the transportation industry.
