I'm not sure why this song gets such a bad rap in the fan community. I personally adore it. It's not one of her strongest songs, but you can always listen to it.
It's so boring, safe and a non event (especially since it was the first single) though. The problem is when you compare it to all the great music that was being released at the time, it didn't stand out and allowed Janet to shine above the rest of the pack like it should've done.
The song is alright lolz
