in general tho if someone criticizes me based on my sexuality (saying *** or not) i generally start laughing. they really must have nothing on me if that's one of the first places they have to go to for an insult

Only by people I've played with online (I'm sure other gaymers would agree that this term is pretty commonly used in the online gaming community) although it's mostly because I kept hitting on this guy and saying pretty nasty things to him in PM so he throws that word at me in retaliation even though it doesn't work and I keep going. (I don't hit on him anymore and we're still pretty good friends though we don't play much with each other anymore.)

In real life though, I don't think I've ever heard it. A huge part would be because English is only a second language here.
