Both are terrible, don't get me wrong. But for a serious ethical question: is it worse to rape someone or to falsely accuse someone of rape? Rape is terrible. It damages people physically, emotionally, and psychologically. But false rape accusations are damaging as well. Even if they are proven to be false, these types of accusations can ruin good, honest people's lives.
Rape. You can emotionally recover from being falsely accused of rape, but it takes years to recover from being raped. Sometimes, you can never recover from it. Not only that, but you also have the people who victim blame you.
These two things can't really be compared. They both damage lives (beyond repair many times) in extremely different ways. Both are horrendous, disgusting acts.
