To be fair, that's why I said that I think directing is a big part of the issue.
This does put it in perspective though, because I've never seen these tumblr girls you're talking about so I legitimately have zero context which might be why I don't find her that funny. That said, I do agree with the criticism of Billie being really hard to understand (like, to actually make the words out), which, again, is a combo of the actor's job and the director's job (like, come on. Billie can't hear herself like we do. If we can't make out what she's saying.. that really is more the director's responsibility. I know she has a famous mom but give her some direction)
