think about the number of times someone here has posted something stupid in regards to geography, math, grammar, and critical thinking etc and you know that both are true in some cases . bless the folks here who are educated.
This is stupid. Although it wouldn't surprise me if the second one was pretty true.
And I love how America is compared to Europe in this thread and it's fine, but when I did it everyone said "Why are you comparing a continent to a country?"
Because they're a similar size and are very comparable.

Just to clarify, I'm asking if the perception illustrated in the OP is accurate, not the actual maps themselves.
I know every European country and capital, and every US state too.
The thing I notice with some Americans and how they see Europe is that they only talk about the Western part of Europe and not Europe as a whole. Because of this, some Americans think Europeans all look the same and they don't. Europe is very diverse.
