Just because people don't know the title doesn't mean the song isn't known. Most people are probably still able to sing it.

HAC radio plays Story of My Life a lot. This will probably end up being their "I Want It That Way". They spin "What Makes You Beautiful" from time to time as well.

Other than those two songs, yeah their discography is very forgettable.

Story of My Life is also memorable
probably because it has very little of Niall in it

because they cater to young girls and because most of their songs are about love which is really repetitive so they can kinda bleed/blend together but I love their songs sooooo

Came here to say this. They are obviously not as iconic as NSYNC & BSB but they're huge for this modern age in music and still make GREAT music regardless of it being memorable or not.

I think they make music for their fans to enjoy not because they want to be remembered. This is why Zayn left because he knew the music that they were making wasn't going to be very memorable and he wants to make his mark, but you definitely have a point.
