I've been in quite a few different countries here in Africa over the past couple of years, and they just aren't big here.

Beyonce got popular because of the African dance in RTW. Celine is still big in West Africa for obvious reasons. Gaga, Whitney, Stevie, MJ, Janet, Drake, Mariah, Nicki, and, oddly enough, Ciara are really the only Western acts that have prominence here.
