From my past experiences, it can take anywhere between a day to a month to receive some information.
This is a small independent bakery tho. I submitted it this past Monday in person. I feel like they probabaly aren't interested even though they are hiring. Oh well. I'll keep waiting.

You could always drop them a call and ask to speak to the owner about whether they've made a decision or even go in person and talk to them. I've never done it before but my brother did that for his current job.
The other day a I interviewed a girl who claimed she was fluent in english and had all these international school certifications. Of course, I started The interview in english since it was vital for the Jon. Poor thing couldn't even spell her name correctly

Just make sure you follow it up, they'll think you're super keen to work there and may be persuaded to give you the job. Good luck!
I did lie on my resume earlier in life, but I never got the job. Then I got a job working for a recruitment agency and WOW, so much goes on behind the scenes. Public records, social media checks, blind calls to check references, so many ways to ID and verify.
Little tip: Don't lie about working in banks or to try and get into a bank. Those things are so easy to trace because everyone who works in a bank has a corresponding client ID that stays on the system FOREVER.
Truthfully you don't really have to lie on your resume if you plan things out well. Get a job in college, any job. Make sure you get a direct reference from your frontline supevisor, make sure you take on additional responsibilities over time, try to hold on for at least 6 months or more, and most importantly analyze your functions and what you bring to the table to benefit the organization. That's very important when listing your duties in your resume.
