Timbaland's New Album Has a Twilight Feel

Timbaland channeling Edward Cullen?

Timbaland is coming out with a new album soon, Shock Value 2, and is currently working on the first single. He's hinting that it has a "Twilight feel" to it. We don't normally associate Timbaland with vampires and Twilight, so we're interested to see what it's all about!

The first single on Timbland's new album is going to be a rap song with SoShy of Paris. And Timbaland says of the song, "The song, I can't describe it, it's so different. It's not different for me, but I can tell you this - it fits everything going on with the vampire theme. It fits everything with Twilight."

OK Timbaland, you got our attention. Which was probably you're goal anyway. But we just really want to know how this song fits everything Twilight! must have some kind of vampire feel to it because Timbaland goes on to say, "I'm up on all that. True Blood, [the song] fits in that way... It's a dance record, but it's a dope dance record. It's rap."

The album does actually sound like it's going to be a good one. It's going to involve cameos from Shakira, Kings of Leon, Lady Gaga, and Twilight soundtrack alums Paramore.

We wonder if perhaps Timbaland is hoping for a spot on the Eclipse soundtrack?
