I don't claim to be modelsque or drop dead gorgeous, but when you are 170 cm and you don't have the anglo saxon features alongside a slim body, what are my odds for me to be accepted in modeling or at least have a professional photographer do an editorial with me without me having to beg to have my pictures take ? Also, are there any international modeling agencies that accept guys who are weird looking and don't have the it look ?

You want to try modeling? That's not easy, but several modeling agencies are extremely picky.

tbh most of those guy models look "weird" to me. U don't see guys like them walking around all the time, and they are not really drop dead gorgeous. I would say you have some chances as long as u fight for it. For profi pics... you can always pay someone to do them there are many profi photographers who would make amazing pics for little money. I say go for it, and try it, maybe you fail and maybe you sucseed, either way try it and you'll see.

How do you expect us to give you a response without seeing your pic?

How do you want to be a model when you can't even post photos on a forum?
If you're scared to do it, then the fashion world is not for you, as simple as that.

Do you want to be an editorial model? A runway model? A catalogue model?
Do you know the differences? Do you know what it takes? Because it's not just "oh I want the glamour and fame!"

My best advice would be to actually try and send photos to different agencies, starting with local ones and see how that goes, but first YOU need to contact a photographer.
No photographer is just gonna come to you and offer their work for free.

Could you model? Yes, anybody can theoretically model.

There are so many different kinds of models to start. Then you gotta fit what they're looking for. You can be an ugly fat nerd guy and get gigs based off of that. Take that fat guy from the Super Bowl commercial a few years back who made out with that hot blonde. He's actually played a background nerd in a lot of tv shows.

My ex boyfriend modeled underwear once. Nothing "sexy" it was just him and two other guys photographed from the waist down.

What I'm trying to say is, if you put yourself out there you could make it happen. But it's really not easy. You have to network like a bitch. It's more about "who you know" if you catch my meaning. Making friends with people (photographers, directors, editors) can make it easier to find work since you're being hired due to personal connections and not necessarily qualifications or having the "look" that they want.

But I will say that if you're looking to make a career out of it, learn as you go. You won't be able to model forever so learn the brain side of things. You can become an agent or a talent scout once you expire
