There's a difference between "In general, I've noticed that I tend to be more attracted to people of Race Y" and "I won't date anyone from Race Z! Nope! They're not attractive!" The first is preference, the second is racism.
Fraternities, final clubs, eating clubs, and whatnot at Ivy League schools are already pretty much a "whites only" club, with some PR diversity sprinkled in there perhaps.
How could they possibly deny it? It's so pitifully true, just look at their history
These comments are from an OFFICIAL school investigation:

The school’s Office of Student Affairs says that its investigation found that a song that SAE members sang on March 7, which included a racial slur and lyrics about lynching and not allowing black members to join the fraternity, was taught to them at a national SAE function, a leadership cruise four years ago.
“Over time, the chant was formalized in the local SAE chapter and was taught to pledges as part of the formal and informal pledgeship process,” the school says.
What's a 'peanut'? Someone black?
Anyway re:the Yale thing, what can i say? Most white ppl parties are boring asf anyway (bad music, bad dancing, unattractive ppl on their phones) so it's not like she was missing much.
