It was actually quite obvious from the beginning, I've always had my suspicions - since the time she touched his face and looked deeply into his eyes. She doesn't have that connection with any of the other students. I don't see how it would come as a surprise to anyone, as the writers seem to have been setting it up from the first episode.

I wasn't talking about whether or not it was obvious - I already said I think it would be an obvious twist. I meant that there hasn't been much importance placed on this possible revelation in terms of either of their characters:

I get that, but I'm talking about how this revelation wouldn't really do much to develop either of their characters. The idea of Wes being adopted or Annalise giving up a child hasn't been something that's driven either of their characters, so that suddenly being brought to the forefront wouldn't make much sense other than to just be a "wow, what a big twist!" moment.

All I'm saying is it doesn't feel like anything's been building up towards this revelation other than "Annalise acts weird about Wes". I just think it'd be a twist for the sake of having twists, and an obvious one at that.
