3. to show that serodiscordant (one negative, one positive) relationships can work.
1. Ok
2. Ok
3. But all they have done on the show so far is say in one place and have sex. There relationship hasn't really left the confines of Oliver's apartment and Annalise's house. I just thought him having HIV would be a bigger talking point on the show than using it as a plot point for Connor's side plot.
I still think Oliver is LYING about something His character is just wayyy too innocent at this point. And giving him HIV so far hasn't really made his character more interesting or complicated. He's still very much the same Oliver (which isn't a bad thing, I just expected some drastic changes).

But you're not supposed to make a drastic personality change if u become positive. And showing the lifestyle changes in terms of healthy choices would be just boring for a show like HTGAWM. He has no subplot of his own really.

I thought it was completely unnecessary, stereotypical, and meh. Like yeah I guess they want to promote prep and clear away the stigma but I just wish it was some other way.

I think it depends. I think becoming positive for some people is a really depressing and major change for some, hell it would be for me. But I do understand that people live with the disease every day, and they are the same as you and I.
