Why are people afraid of mice or rodents in general?
Particularly mostly women and homosexual men? My gay friend often screams when a squirrel comes near him and he's also afraid of rats or any type of rodent. I'm not fond of them because they have diseases but I'm not exactly terrified of them like I am with bears or pythons....you know animals that can actually KILL you. So why are you people afraid of rodents?
I don't think you have to be a woman or gay to be scared of them.
I wouldn't be scared of one outside or in a public place but if I were to see one inside my home I'd be terrified. A) It might come close or crawl on me while I'm sleep. B) It may be/have been in some clothing or food C) If there is 1 there may be more and I don't want no rat f******* in my home
because they're disgusting
And it probably started with the Black Plague, you know that one disease that reduced the world population by almost 100 million.

They also bite and carry disease
True but statistics prove that women are more likely to be afraid of pests than men and most of the men that answered they were afraid turned out to be homosexual.
My mother told me that one day when she was like, 5 years old, her neighbour went to use the bathroom and when she opened the toilet and sat there, a rat came up swimming and bited her. Since then, she always makes sure that there's nothing on the toilet.
Personally, I'm not afraid of rodents and rat, but actually the diseases they carry.

Maybe the straight men were lying about not being afraid.

This.
When I was in school and a rat or flying cockroach appeared out of nowhere, I would play tough like I wasn't scared knowing d*** well if it was to get close I would probably scream like a little girl
