didn't this already leak? mess @ seventh single and there's only 8 tracks

I'm all about Hey QT and even some of the songs where he does the whole "most of the song is kind of dissonant and hard to listen to but then there's a super satisfying melodic part every once in awhile"

but this song is just completely unlistenable... There's not even a beat of any kind or variation in the noise. It's like the same high pitched tone through the whole song except the nice little 13 second ring tone toward the end.

Played this for my friend last week and she hated me. It really is an acquired taste

Is it though? I'm having a hard time believing people actually have acquired a taste to listen to this song all the way through. Like, how do you enjoy it? How does it make you feel? It doesn't seem like music to me at all, and I think I'm pretty open minded on what can be considered music.

well then u should be open minded about this

if we think of music in the same parametric terms for all of eternity that's going to make it very boring so when electronic music can come thru and push the boundaries of sound via different levels of frequency and bass, i think u should accept the challenge and try to listen for the different lil nuances that he probably spent hours trying to perfect

I think it's best to appreciate that SOPHIE is showcasing some diversity with this track. I wasn't happy with its inclusion on the album when I believe KITTYCAT or OOH deserve to be there more, but I've grown to really appreciate it a lot. I love the ringtone music, I love the sounds of pouring water, I think it's such an interesting academic construction
