At least with previous H&M collaborations (Versace, Alexander Wang) there was some creative input. This is just a boring and cheap way to bring luxury to the masses. Of course, it will fly of the shelves just because it's Balmain, but that doesn't mean it's actually any good.
The better collab of 2015 (Uniqlo x Lemaire) remains unbothered.

That's not true, every piece in the collection is drawn from one of Olivier's collections for the house.
I agree that the clothes will obviously be inferior in every way though. They look pretty in the lookbook and on the runway but in real life....I just keep picturing all the beads getting snagged and falling off an hour after you put one of those jackets or dresses on.
But this is going to be their most successful collaboration yet, bookmark it.
