1) I learned that I was terrified of heights when I climbed up to the top of a rollercoaster
2) I once contracted two rare infectious diseases within a very short time period. One was so rare, most doctors I went to had never heard of it. One was reported to the CDC.
3) I grew up living with my Spanish speaking grandma, she never taught me Spanish, but I learned to understand it by listening to her. To this day, I can understand it just about perfectly even if I can't speak it well. Sometimes I use this to eavesdrop on Spanish speaking people.
