The way the X Files ratings kept increasing during its first 5 seasons
Well, yeah, first five seasons are impeccable and have a lot of famous classic episodes. Season 6 is good too but everything after it is a ****ing crap
The acclaimed show I couldn't get into was The Wire. I dropped it after 1,5 seasons cause it was slow as **** and no characters were interesting enough to keep on going.
Six Feet Under deserved much bigger success and recognition than it got but it was too complex and indie for people, I guess, hihi. It's fourth season and series finale are still God's gifts sent to people
The S1 is just okay, but it keeps getting better & better.
S3 is so ****ing amazing. Give it a try, it's a really good tv show.
Alright, I'll continue.
Olivia is just so limp and boring. And Peter has far too much social intelligence for a man with a 190 IQ. And the "crazy scientist" act w/ his dad feels so corny to me.
There are several elements of the plot and characterization that I think really hurt the show's credibility.
Lost was so bad. I watched it since the pilot first aired on TV and thought it was the best show ever. But they dragged it on way too long, created unnecesary plot holes and ended it on a low note.
The Evening Herald said the show had "overwhelming influence" on television, in front of such shows as The Simpsons.[177]
