I have a strange feeling this will be one of the biggest rock singles we've had in awhile.
The feeling crossed my mind too especially since my local rock station who would never play anything by 30 seconds to mars (they have a bit of a different taste in music generally) actually played this song today on its premiere day. Personally I thought it was shocking to hear it and then hear the DJ say it was the most awesome song he played all night was even weirder.
I think people aren't looking at the big picture here. Big hit on rock radio? Probably. But this song could be massive on Pop and AC radio, too. It wouldn't surprise me, in the slightest.

Song itself is fine, if not a bit pretentious.
