J.K. Rowling’s tour of interviews to promote her latest Robert Galbraith novel, Career of Evil, have already given us a ton of insights. She’s described why she wanted to take a pseudonym and how writing Career of Evil gave her nightmares. But the biggest yet may be the revelation that she’s working on another children’s book.
Since the Harry Potter series concluded, Rowling has stuck mostly to adult fare (both with the Galbraith crime books and her own pseudonym-less The Casual Vacancy). She’s started dipping her toes back into the Potter-verse though, thanks to the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them screenplay and the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child stage production. But Rowling recently told BBC host Simon Mayo that she may soon make a whole other outing in the children’s book genre.
